To help companies build fair, sustainable, and high-performing wage systems across global supply chains.
Who We Are
The Fair Wage Network was launched in 2009 during the first Fair Wage Conference in Washington, D.C. From the outset, our objective has been to advance wage practices worldwide by integrating the Fair Wage approach at both national and international levels.
Our Approach
The Fair Wage methodology is grounded in rigorous research and real-world application. It was first introduced in Fair Wages by Daniel Vaughan-Whitehead and further developed in The Fair Wage Solution (2025), expanding the framework to meet today’s sustainability and due-diligence requirements.
We work hand in hand with companies through a clear, step-by-step process:
1. Assessment
2. Remediation
3. Certification
using a transparent, industry-proven methodology that builds trust and delivers measurable results.
Why It Matters
By combining cooperation, data, and expert guidance, the Fair Wage Network supports companies in strengthening wage standards while enhancing sustainability performance and long-term value creation.
A Global Network
Our organization continues to grow, bringing together experts and partners from around the world to support companies on their journey toward fair and sustainable wage practices.
